About this space
Neal's Yard is an alley between Shorts Gardens and Monmouth Street that opens into a small painted courtyard, named for the seventeenth century developer Thomas Neale. Michael Palin and Terry Gilliam took offices at number 11 in 1976, and the wholefood shop that became Neal's Yard Remedies started in a derelict warehouse next door.
