Camden

Camden sits north of Euston and King's Cross, around the market and the canal, and is one of the busier places in London to base a business. Office space in Camden has been thin on the ground for years, though the Hawley Wharf development has added modern floors, alongside the converted industrial buildings, market structures and canalside space that the creative and music trades have used here for decades. Its surroundings take in museums, street markets, open green space and some affluent residential streets.

A team here gets more options at lunchtime than most business districts offer, and a livelier street to walk out onto. The market covers food comprehensively and cheaply, and the canal towpath provides a proper walk in either direction. Regent's Park and London Zoo are a short walk west, and Primrose Hill is fifteen minutes and worth the climb for the view. The music venues mean after-work plans rarely need much organising. It is louder and busier at street level than most office districts, which suits some occupiers and not others.
